Book and Lyrics
By Dorothy Reynolds and Julian Slade. Music by Julian Slade
Directed by Frankie Lewis Co-Produced by Patricia Kratzer and Joan Roseboom.
This delightful Musical takes place on Terhou, an island in the English Channel.
The majority of the locals have never visited the mainland, the exceptions being
Tom, the Boatman, and Lord Postumous. When a mainlander unexpectedly arrives on
the island, she inadvertently saves
the Island’s endangered annual carnival. During
the course of events, the determination
of one mainlander to open the island up for commerce causes considerable tension. However, as in most musicals, eventually,
all is happily resolved.
